We got back yesterday evening from horse trekking in Songpan area and I am still flying high on clear blue skies, crystal clear fresh mountain air, wonderful company, magical mountains and nature's wonders. Despite earthquake damaged roads, May 1st traffic, confiscated driver's licenses, altitude sickness, one horse that almost broke its leg and very sore thigh muscles I think we all had a wonderful adventure! Several entries will now follow about the entire trip 6-day trip that included not only the trek but also the earthquake area between Chengdu - Yinxiu - Wenchuan - Maoxian; Songpan, Huanglong and Pingwu.
